We offer the Federal Canadian Firearms Safety Course and the Federal Restricted Canadian Firearms Safety Course. We also teach the Ontario Hunter's Education Course.

Our firearms courses will enable you to apply for a Federal Possession and Acquisition Firearms License or the Ontario Hunting License upon successful completion of the courses and exams.

We generally teach the Non-Restricted Canadian Firearms Safety Course on a Saturday. This course is taught in a mandatory minimum 10-hour course. The testing follows right after the course so don't make plans on the date you book for the course as the testing can last several hours. Successful completion of this course will allow you to apply for the Non-restricted component of the Firearms License.

If you require the restricted component of the license, (generally for handgun and restricted rifle possession), you will require an additional six-hour restricted firearms safety course. The testing follows the six-hour course. Successful completion of this course will allow you to apply for both the Non-restricted and Restricted component of the Firearms License. Effective April 2016, If a student does NOT complete the Restricted course either back to back with the Non Restricted course or within a 30 day period, the student will be required to then take an extended 8 hour Restricted class which may be scheduled over 2 days PLUS pay an additional $40. fee plus 13% HST for a total of an additional $45.20 over the regular Restricted Course fee.

Please note that generally students are required to take the non-restricted firearms course prior to taking the restricted firearms safety course. Arrangements can be made for students who have completed the Non-Restricted Canadian Firearms Safety Course and/or tests with another instructor.

We also offer a ten hour Provincial Hunter Education Course for students who have taken the Non-Restricted Canadian Firearms Safety Course. Successful completion of this course and test will allow you to apply for a provincial hunting license. Arrangements can be made for students who have completed the Non-Restricted Canadian Firearms Safety and/or test with another instructor.

Note:
As of November 30th, 2018, the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario has instituted a new policy on classroom sizes. These changes have introduced new challenges that will limit the number of students that we are able to accommodate asking for a one-off firearms classes, either for a Non-Restricted class or a Restricted class.

We strongly encourage students intending to complete both a Non-Restricted and Restricted firearms course to do so by booking back-to-back dates during a single weekend. Students intending to complete both a Non-Restricted firearms course and a Hunting Safety course should also book them back-to-back over a single weekend.

Should you need to reserve a spot for a single one-off course, please call us at (416) 962 - 5444.

Note:
As of January 9th, 2018, prices for the Non Restricted and Restricted Firearms safety courses have increased. This is in accordance with a new pricing schedule set forth by The Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO) and the Chief Firearms Officer of Ontario (CFO). The price will increase $22.60 for both courses, and retests will increase from $40 to $60.
